Music has been a huge part of my life. I started playing the piano from my grandfather's knees and my grandmother was my first piano teacher. I also played the flute, piccolo, clarinet and tenor sax. I wore out records when I was young and I wouldn't go to sleep at night without my radio going.
This song means so much to me. When Jordin sang this song and won American Idol in 2007 I didn't think too much of the song. I recently heard it again and the words caught my attention this time. As I listened I realized that this song really did spell out my life and this journey. I just love it. Since December 8, 2007 I have come to realize that both Jordin Sparks and David Cook and his This is the time of my Life both reflect my life right now! These songs make my heart soar.
I have been through a lot in my life but I would have never made it through any of it without the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior. He has been there thru it all and I know that He will be with me till the end. My life and this present journey is His story, His plan and His will for my life. May He give me the strength it takes to see it to the end and may He use all that I learn powerfully to help others sitting in the same spot that I have been and I am now. To Him be the glory.
