Working It Out: This Is My Final Weight Loss Journey

I'm slowly getting this blog caught up!  It is fixing to get really interesting.  In the coming days as I further catch things up you are going to see me explode!  Promise!

Today started just like all the other days.  You can tell that I'm getting bored!  LOL! 

Got up, showered, drank coffee, got Mark off to work, drank more coffee and then Guess what happened?

Can you guess?

Come on I know you all know what is coming...,.

Ann Marie called and came and had breakfast and coffee and stayed for a bit!

Shocked?

I'm not!  LOL!  She did tell me that she had a friend coming over to hang out.  I'm hoping that she is getting the hint.  Slowly she is spending less time here and I'm getting happy about it.  Do I feel like I'm getting my life back?  Not yet!

One thing that she talked about while she was here was that she needed some more work clothes.  Tomorrow is her birthday and this wasn't the first time she mentioned it.  I had talked to Mark about taking her to Ross which is where she wanted to go because she could get some cheap tops for work.  Mark said that I could take her to lunch and buy her a couple of tops for work.  I shared with her this morning what I wanted to do for her birthday.  She was so happy and so touched.

She had another cup of coffee and then went home cause her friend arrived.  I got busy doing laundry and some light cleaning and picking up around the house.  It felt good to want to do this.  I haven't felt this in years!  Could the mood enhancer be kicking in?  Probably too soon.

Anyway, I kept busy folding clothes, loading and unloading the dishwasher, picking up, deciding on dinner.  I got a lot done so I thought I would treat myself to putting my feet up for about 30 minutes.  I still have to be careful because of my ankles.  I stand or do too much and I can put myself out of commission.

That wasn't a smart thing to do because like always I fell asleep in my chair.I woke up with Mark calling me and asking me if I had made plans for dinner. I had decided that I would make that chicken dish but now I was half asleep and I didn't want to cook.  My poor sweetie!!!!  He puts up with so much from me! I'm so thankful that he has such a big heart and understands me so well.  I want so much to be better to him.

It will come...It has to!

He brought home BBQ which I requested.  Have any of you heard about this great weight-loss program called Weight Watchers?  Could someone please tell me about it.  I think that I need to try it.  I seem to be in the mode of blowing my butt up!  As Mike would say "Journal in the trash!"  I've got to turn this around.  My not being able to keep things in is saving but what happens when that fixes itself????  OMG!  I don't want to think about it!

Throw me a rope!  I need to hold on!!!!

Mark started painting our bathroom and it is so pretty.  I can't wait to see all fixed up.  It is going to be beautiful!  As soon as I can find my battery charger, book and camera cord I will get some pictures of the guestroom and get them up so that you can see it too!

I just watched TV and talked on the phone to my friend Bobbie.  We got all caught up and it was so wonderful to get to talk to her.  She pumped me up about telling Ann Marie what I would take and not take.  I love her so much (Bobbie!)  What a great friend!

Well it is night, night time for me!  Tomorrow is a day to mess with Ann Marie.  I'm glad that we have had some time apart.  It will make it easier to spend some time with her tomorrow for her birthday!

OMG!  I forgot share with all of you this....MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 60 YEARS TODAY!!!!!  How cool is that? I'm so proud of them and happy for them.  That is a long time!  They didn't want a party but I wished I would have done something anyway!
